When I ar a snow block in the desert biome, that is texture turns to desert floor (even despite if quiet drops snow as soon as harvested). Is over there a way to create soil blocks prefer in a17, which would not readjust appearance depending upon the biome ?

I tried to create new block and material for snow, but it was no sufficient. Exactly how does the video game identifies i m sorry block to alter ? just how to produce a block which stays unaltered ?

Thank you really much !

Thank friend convergent.

You are watching: 7 days to die dirt block

The re-painting you explain (both the future equipment with biome.xml, or the existing with name) carry out not use to all blocks (for circumstances wood blocks), but only to terrain (maybe rock too, as there is part frozen stone). So there have to be a block condition that cause it (some tag, probably it"s "is terrain", "is dirt", "has part texture_id" ...), i m sorry I want to know.

If I might create a new block no containing such trigger, it would save its initial texture. Even if the condition is on the texture_id, I could duplicate it v Unity under a new id. I simply need to know the problem to change it in mine duplicate block !

So the exact same terrain tags controls both texture override and also mesh extrapolation. Thank you really much !

If friend made any type of progress ~ above this, please post! I have actually abandoned mine biomes work-related at the moment as ns cant develop custom biomes or subbiomes.
